My Grand Father gets a registered GPA (Instead of Sale deed) during 1990`s from one Mr X and on that base he Mutated the property to his name and in the revenue records the ownership of the property shows my Grand Fa`s name and both my Grand Fa and the person who gave GPA in favour of my Grand Fa both are died and do I have right over the property.
It was a sale transaction out and out, disguised as a GPA to evade stamp duty, this was acceptance practice in 1990 - hence mutation was done on the same basis. Now after your grandfather's death in absence of a will - the property gets vested in all Class I legal heirs in equal respects.
