Misrepresentation of facts

(Querist) 08 March 2012 This query is : Resolved
If an individual who owns a company or form part of the group which runs a company has been charge sheeted for misrepresentation of facts , can he be denied the rights of doing business till he is acquitted?

What will happen to the company ?
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 08 March 2012
He is well within his rights to continue doing business.

However, if he is part of a group, the other members can decide to exclude him by paying his share/ buying his shares in the company. Or can well deny him to have a working position in the company.
