Entry taxes in karnataka on imported coffee machinery

We wish to inform that we have imported coffee machinery from Columbia and it has reached our estates in Karnataka . We request you to kindly give us your opinion ,whether Karnataka Entry tax applicable for imported coffee machinery. While transporting the machinery from Chennai port to Karnataka Commercial taxes check post till our destination point we have not been questioned by Commercial taxes department.
