Claim half of the property

Husband and wife are working. Both take action and purchased a plot and construct the house. Property was purchased after the marriage and was registered on husband name.
wife & husband are not in good terms now, but they aren't living together, there is no divorce, planning for divorce)
Further, the land was purchased by pleadging wife jewels, by bank loan of both and savings of LIC of both and wife is the co-applicant for the Home loan. And necessary permission was obtained by the department and the pleadging of jewels details was entered in the registered document.
Husband accept to give half of the share through gift deed.
Whether the problem can be solved by way of gift deed or it can be done by other way of mode. please explain in detail.
And whether the wording (ie. without the knowledge of the wife the property could not be saled) can be used in that
please explain in detail.

If you want to resolve the problem amicably It can be done as suggested by your husband by way of gift deed. As soon as the deed is signed get your name mutated in all revenue documents for portion of property given in your name on its authority.
