In fact 351 only defines "Assault". It is not a substantive penal section. Section 507 relates to giving of threats in a typical manner. Actually, the author wants to know the appropriateness when a case is filed for assault and criminal intimidation. Since bail is no problem, does the author want to ask about anything else or bail only?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 15 June 2011
Section 507 is always a better option.
Sarvesh Kumar Sharma Advocate (Expert) 16 June 2011
take the bail.
