Dear Sirs,
Please tell me as to how many types of affidavits are there? I have heard about sworn affidavit and verified affidavit. Is there any difference between these two? If yes then please tell me what it is? thanks.

Yes, there is no limit about affidavit. verified means after sworn(oath) the clerk put the court stamp as verified.verifying affidavit means you will have to verify the paragraphs of an affidavit, you will have to say that the contents of my affidavit are true and correct.Any public officer authorized by law to administer oaths and affirmations—such as city recorders, court clerks, notaries, county clerks, commissioners of deeds, and court commissioners—may take affidavits.
