(Querist) 03 March 2011 This query is : Resolved 
my son is studying in st. xaviers loyola school in ahmedabad. this school is a minority school getting govt.aid. the school has failed my child in class VII in the year 2010. he is repeating the class VII in the current academic. WHETHER THE SCHOOL CAN FAIL A CHILD TILL EIGHT STANDARD. SECONDLY, SCHOOL IS ALSO CHARGING VERY HIGH FEES. IS THERE ANY PROVISION REGARDING THE CEILING OF THE FEES CHARGING BY THE SCHOOL.......WHAT ACTIONS CAN I TAKE AGAINST THE SCHOOL.

Central GOVT Announced that upto 8th std compulsory to make pass in all schools, so you can file writ against the failure your son, and separatly apply reduced the cost of fees case against the school.
