my sister has four daughters and my brother-in-law have now decided to marry another girl. so my sister want to claim maintenence for her four daughters but my brother has no standing source of income(we dont know how he earns for living but he is living a good life)...in this situation can she claim maintenece from him.

you have not mentioned ur religion..well if hindu then he is under obligation to maintain your sister and four daughters... they all together can file under 125 Cr.P.C as well as under Hindu Marriage Act..in case he fails his property would be attached...

yes you can file a maintenance petition in court asking for a monthly maintenance for your 4 child
