WE HAVE LEGAL CASE AGAINST OUR TENANT IN GUJARAT HIGH COURT. MY FATHER IS SR. CITIZEN. CAN WE HAVE A ANY BENEFIT OF SR. CITIZEN FOR PROCEEDING RAPIDLY IN THE MATTER IN GUJARAT HIGH COURT. IS THERE ANY SYSTEM LIKE FAST TRACK COURTS FOR SR. CITIZEN BECAUSE MY FATHER IS AROUNT 65 YEARS AND IT IS SAID THAT MATTER WILL TAKE A 10 YEARS FOR COMPLETION. IS IT TRUE PLEASE GIVE ME GUIDANCE IN THIS REGARD.

Laws are in favour of tanents , Sr citizen or Jr citizen.
Relax and attend dates in court and at advocates office.

I am afraid at the moment the question of priority to senior citizens is still under consideration of the government but you can apply for speedy disposal citing special circumstances under existing law please consult your local advocate for more specific advise

You can take permission from H.C. for early disposal of the case.

In Madras High Court the new Chief Justice has introduced the scheme for taking up the cases of the senior citizens on priority basis. Even in the cause list of the Madras High court it is separately printed under the title Senior Citizens. If it is not there in Gujarat, meet the chief Justice in person and submit an application seeking early hearing.

In almost all HCs. in India preference is being given to cases involving Sr. citizens.GUJARAT HIGH COURT should be no exception.Check the procedure to expedite the case & act accordingly.
