how to get an anticipatory bail even before lodging FIR or 498a by his wife?

Anticipatory bail is sought bcoz the person anticipates that he may be arrested by police u/s----IPC, as FIR is lodged against him.
So no anticipatory bail before lodging FIR or 498a by his wife.
