Dear Sirs
I had purchased an NA plot in Raigarh district of Maharashtra in 2007, which got registered in 2008. During the time of registration, I was serving in Gurgaon, and could not get leave from office to go there. Hence I gave general power of attorney registered at sub registrar office murbad. (which i came to know is irrevocable). You can say i was not having much knowledge on this subject that time.
My question is can i sell this property without having consent from the attorney holder? and is there any way to revoke this POA.
Kindly help.
Regards

Dear Querist
you have all right to sale or transfer your own property, no need to take any consent of POA Holder, you can apply for Revocation of this POA before Sub-Registrar.

No concrete advise can be given w.o knowing what were the clauses of GPA.
There might be instance that unless you revoke the GPA, you may not be able to sell the said property.
