I want to know that can any Village Grampanchayat falling under the category of Tribal and Hilly area demand for G.P. Tax on a building as per Mumbai Grampanchayat Act. Please Clarify

yes , G.P. Tax is authentic for tribal areas also falling under the term Village under the Bombay Village Panchayat Act.

Not Clear. There are catagories of villages i.e. general village panchayat and panchayat falling under Hilly area and applicability for the tax not yet confirmed. Any way thanks
