Salary To Employees

Dear Experts,

I have entered into business few months ago. I have been facing a problem while giving out the monthly wages to our employees. My doubt is how to calculate monthly wages. How to calculate monthly wages for 31days. Whether the actual salary divided by 26 or 27 days in 31day month.

If it is monthly salary, where is the question of dividing it either by 26 or 27 comes?

thats wat i asked my employees.. but my employees saying that it be monthly salary.. and it should be calculated by dividing it by 26 or 27 according to the number of days in a month.

Monthly salary means salary for the calender month irrespective of the days.

If they worked for few days, the salary has to be paid proportionately.
