I am fighting a case of senior citizen widow, very much sick, living on a particular floor of a building which in an unauthorized construction and with IRREGULAR WATER SUPPLY.

The case is under 14D,Delhi Rent Control Act.The Court is giving dates of 4/5 months?

The lady may die before the judgement, how can I ask the court to give very short dates?

On next date 28/08/10,I am supposed to file rejoinder.

1. It surprises me Sir if this is a case of one of the District Courts of Delhi. Why? Because in all Districts Courts Room of Delhi from last 8 months there is a Notice pasted next to reader of the Court where it categorically says : If listed matter of senior citizen then request Reader to call for the matter first..."

2. Using above Circular from Hon'ble DJ just mention (application) before Hon'ble DJ citing lady's advance health and age and pray for releif to get the case heard on daily basis. The Hon'ble DJ will allow such prayer and direct the PO of concerned Court to accommodate such requests.

3. Before 28th. Aug. above application may not be filed since Monday / Tue are holidays of Courts. Come 25th. and 26th. and your matter is on 28th. So you may try an Application via Registrar office on 25th. Aug. with request to put up before Hon'ble DJ for 26th. Aug. if filed at 10 AM (registrar window I mean). With this method and disposal of your Applicaiton by Hon'ble DJ the direction will (may) reach dasti to concerned PO well in time (i.e. 28th. Aug. the actual listing date of lady's matter).

All the best.
