Nursery Admissions

I am very much confused about age criteria for admission into nursery and primary schools.

What is the minmum age criteria for ICSE/CBSE/Matriculation schools for LKG,UKG and class I in Mumbai.

Is the age criteria is soley determined by the schools individually or same across region?

Is there legal standing or court decision?

Please wait for some time. Our Hon"ble Minister Mr.Kapil Sibal is seriously working for it. However, the same is flexible since the Standard and nomenclature assigned to the Nursery and Primary schools is not uniform. They can very well argue that a child admitted below the age of 3 is construed as Baby Sitting or Creche..
