Dear SKJ I appreciate that you are taking keen interest in replying to the queries posted on the forum but I find that there is some negative approach in your replies. Now taking this query, 498 A IPC is about subjecting a woman to cruelty and explanation to the section also describe cruelty. Petty quarrels are common between married couple and in my opinion would not tantamount to cruelty to meet the stringent provisions of 498A . The author is seeking some citations to defend the charges of cruelty under section 498A IPC where such behaviour of husband is held not to be cruelty within the meaning of the section. If you have answer, please reply in the right spirit.
Please don't feel offended by humble observations. I have also noticed with concern your comments on the queries of another member and his deplorable outburst and abusive answer to your comments. This shall only disgrace the portal.
Best wishes and regards.
