Under Section 2(21) of M.V. Act, 1988 the tractor without trailer requires the license of Light Motor Vehicle(Transport).
Section 2(21) - Light Motor Vehicle means a transport vehicle or omnibus the gross vehicles weight either of which or a motor car or tractor or road roller the unladen weight of any of which, does not exceed 7500 kgs.

hello! Mr. tribhuwan.thanks for your answer.but i'm confused if TRACTOR require Licence of LMV(T),than why not there is PERMIT for tractor ?
