Can Authority alter adjourned date granted?

Sir,

Authority has granted adjourned and postponed our clients' matter and proceeding has been done taking counter sign of Advocate.

Now, Authority wishes to alter proceeding and also wishes to make hearing on time against adjouned dated granted earlier.

As a lawyer we intends to make hearing on adjourned date and not on time.

Kindly guid the remedy in this matter and relevant provision, if any.

An authority cannot alter the date of hearing on its own. Probably the other party has moved an application for early hearing.

An advancement application should have been presented by the opposite counsel with a copy to you to hear the matter early. You have had an opportunity to object for earlier hearing and without informing you, the date cannot be advanced.
