Sir I bought vacant CMDA plot in chennai six years back with my brother as undivided through bank loan. Two years back he forced me to close the loan and agreed to divide the land by partition deed.After closing the loan he refused for partition deed and demanding settlement deed only and was not ready to share document charges and etc., It is a corner plot, though i am elder i was ready to give corner plot.still he is not coming forward for registration and threatening my life. Sir in cmda chennai,they advising me that first you should sub divide the plot before partition. Sir what is the procedure to file a case and fees to pay in court for stamp duty and is there any alternative without going to court or to settle my part to my wife and want to know is it possible and legally valuable. Sir i am in need of of your assistance,i will be grateful to you ever, thanking you,faithfully, (BALACHANDRAN)

If the things are not settled mutually, then court is the only way out,
Court fee as well as lawyer fee differ from state to state, contact a local lawyer.
