Can a gift deed be challenged

(Querist) 20 June 2012 This query is : Resolved
My father-in-law has gifted 3 properties to his daughter ( my wife ) through duly registered and stamp duty paid deeds. There is an ongoing bitter feud between my father-in-law and his daughter on one side and my brother-in-law his son on the other side. The gift deeds also clearly have attestations from registered medical doctors that at the time of signing there gift deeds he was of sound mind and body. my father-in-law is 80 yrs old and has been living with us since the last one year and presently continuous to. I wand to know whether the son can challenge these gift deeds ? and if so on what grounds. your early reply will be very appreciated. regards
