my elder widowed sister with no issues and I jointly constructed a dwelling unit of gr+1 floor on her plot of land. cost of construction only, and not cost of her plot, which was shared 50:50. she refused to give me any sale-deed on the ground that she will make out a will bequeathing the ground-floor as my portion. all monies towards our contribution were paid in good faith in cash with no proof of payment. she now wants us to sell our portion to her so that our younger sister who lives in a rented house can be given possession of our portion.
we were living and working in delhi since 80s and never expected that we would be betrayed. a case was filed in a court but was not pursued to its logical end in the hope that good sense and reason would prevail on my elder sister. pl advise.

Since the plot is in her name and you have no proof that you have spent your money in constriction. Your claim based on her verbal assurance has no base. You have no case. It is better to get this matter mutually settled .
