sir
i sent a email to a physiotherapist company regarding their product and cost.company in reply send me email-name of products and cost of products.as i liked one of the product but it was not within my budget i sent an email -sir i wish to purchse the product @20000.if possible please reply.company head mr mendiratta replied in email-you are a drunkard shameless and time waster.sir i am deeply hurt and i want to take legal action.what legal action should i take and how.

Even thoug the act of the other party is insulting in nature, there is no use in taking any legal action on such a small issue. You can reply to the mail and demand an apology saying that failing which you will take legal action on the basis of the mail.
Since the mail is personal communication between 2 persons, it cannot be covered under the term defamation too.
