Due to retrenchment worker ask for compensation?

If the cinema is closed then can a worker can claim for compensation/ or gratuity for the reason due to retrenchment ?

yes, they are entitled for closer compensation equal to retrenchment compensation plus one month wages and gratuity under the payment of gratuity act.
