Hi Members,
Off lately, we have incorporated many private Limited companies.
My queries is apropos registration with shops and Establishment Act, authorities.
whether registration is required in case of companies doing no business.
and in case of companies doing business but having no employees.
pl suggest.

in both the cases, registration under the establishment act are necessary one, by giving factual declaration therein. thanks.

as mr ashok explained well. more over if any one entered to do business then they have to registered with all the statutory departments. More over you given self explanation that you incorporated so many pvt ltd companies.
hope you aware all rules . Without got VAt registration no one can legally commenced the business.
As simple as the registration is must for either firm or proprietor ship or pvt ltd or ltd company

Ans.I humbly disagree with experts, there is no requirement of registration since there is no business activity.

In support of my above given answer check definition of Shop:-
'shop' means any premises where any wholesale or retail trade or business is carried on, or where services are rendered to customers, and includes, all offices, godowns or warehouses, whether in the same premises or not, which are used in connection with such trade or business.

A. yes, registration is required. there is no exemption in act.
