A desires B,who owes him rs.100,to send him a note for rs.100 by post.the debt is discharged as soon as B puts in to the post a letter containing the note duly addressed to A.but what if the post does not reach A?and missed during transit.whether the contract is complete or not?

The contract partly complied but its not yet completed. Same time no default from b's side. A or b can file a consumer case against postal department in the grounds of deficiency in service.
