property claim by married daughter

(Querist) 23 June 2011 This query is : Resolved 
I am a male member of my family.My grandfather had 2 sons and 2 daughters.Now in the year of 2004 he died without righting any will he had a house in city bought by him now my both of aunties(fathers sisters) are claiming share over it. I think it should be divided into my uncle and my father. I need to know actual law aplies to it.

Your aunties have equal rights in the property under Hindu Succession Act, they claim.
