right of in the inheritance property of husband

sir
please tell me what exact the law says regarding the right of wife over husbands inhetance property.
i have a inheritance property of a building and a site of 40*60.
i have no children.
my wifes father is a rich person he have only two daughter second one is my wife.
whether wife will get share in property or only mantainance fixed by law.
what abou the word compensation.
