limitation period of suspension

I am deputy Manager in state bank of india. I have put under suspension on 26 March 2008 till date my enquery is not over. Can I can be reinstated as per limitation period of suspension.
Please guide.

You file writ petition. Under the law a person can not be kept under suspension for indefinite period. If there exists any provision for limitation in service rules, the disciplinary proceedings should be completed within the stipulated period. if no time is prescribed within reasonable period. in your case, 3 years have already passed. thus I hope that your suspension would be revoked.
