hi my friend an ex airman got order issued in his favour by aft chennai bench in sep.2010 and direction were issued to air force authority to sanction pension with in 4 months.on enquery they simply say that matter under consideration at high level.can we go for contempt of aft? or not.people say there is no contempt procceedure in aft rules.is it correct?

AFT should not be treated merely a dummy body to issue direction without caring for compliance. You must file contempt petition to AFT. If that says that cannot handle, the authorities would definitely recommend disciplinary action against the defaulters or would like transfer the contempt case to the competent civil court for proceedings under intimation to you. After all that would be a matter of prestige of the AFT.
