Receiver duties & Responsibilities

Court has appointed a Receiver for an Educational Institution. Please explain me the duties & responsibilities of a Receiver. Is there any law stating the duties of a receiver? If yes, please send the files.

There shall not be separate duties for Court Receiver, you will have to see the reason why he has been appointed.

Ready application of appointing Court Receiver, based on prayer pressed by applicant the receiver will act and submit his report to the Court.
