Repatriation from Central Govt. Deputation

1. When a deputationist seeks premature repatriation on personal/family ground from Central Govt. to parent (state govt. cadre)can he/she be compelled to continue the deputation ?
2. Can his/her repatriation be kept in hold indefinitly without assigning any reason ?
3. Is premature repatriation is a right of a deputationist ?

1. It is the discretion of the Government. It can compel you to continue on deputation.

2. Yes. It can be done.

Nobody might have sent you on deputation without your willingness.
Having opted for deputation, you cannot ask for repatriation before the tenure since in your place someone else might have been brought in. Further, the borrowing department would also be put to difficulties in case premature repatriation is permitted.
Thus, if the application for repatriation has not been considered and no reply / communication is sent to you, you have to understand that your repatriation has not been approved.
