getting courts permission to sell property gifted to minor

How long does it take to get court permission and which law firm specialises in this kind of work. I live in mumbai.

It depends from court to court. But 6 month should be the reasonable time.
This is not the place to refer law firms.

Provided you furnish the required particulars the court permission can be obtained within 6 months time or even lesser. You should furnish a sale agreement and the amount should not be variant from the market value of the property. Court if it is satisfied will allow it or ask the matter to be published in a paper and then pass orders.
