liabillity of service tax

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 24 February 2011 This query is : Resolved 
the assessee is providing medical facility services. it collects materisl (stents/ pacemaker) by paying cst on it.it collects vat on material and service tax on material and service element.
please let me know what is the corect treatment???

The assess is correct. But it can opt for composite scheme.
