Violent stray dog menace

Respected experts,

A violent stray dog is causing a lot of problem to us as it either tries to grab whatever packet we have in our hands by jumping on us using its claws.

How can the stray dog be handled? can the municipality take any action, as killing stray dog is prohibited legally ? what can be done ?

Please guide.

File a complaint before the Executive Magistrate u/s 133 of crpc for removal of such nuisance or danger.

Take that dog by force and drop it at the premises of the SPCA and go away. Let them take the best care of it. It is after all their bounden duty.

YOU can give application for that than municipality take any action, may be File a complaint before the Executive Magistrate u/s 133 of crpc for removal of such nuisance or danger.
