PF contribution for sick industries

Dear All,

we are taken over a weak industry to run. & actually contribute 12% to PF. my friend tells that weak industries can contribute 10% to PF. is it right? if right, which law is applicable? where to apply?

Sir,there is no such provision under the EPF & MP Act untill and unless it is a sick company and declared so under SICA .For further details , pl. contact PRO/EO of the concerened PF office.
