Thank you Veterans,
Now another incidence with same Axis Bank.
I have availed a loan of Rs.6 lacs @ 13% pa from Citi Bank where I was a customer for over 21 years. post migration of retail banking of citi bank to Axis bank, now I have been serviced by Axis Bank.
Axis Bank demanded 49th EMI as against originally signed for 48 EMIs. In good faith and save from CIBIL Score, I have paid 49th EMI. As advised by veterans of Lawyers Club, I have lodged a complaint with RBI Ombudsman against Axis Bank.
When asking for the justification and the copy of the loan sanction letter, the bank explicitly declared that the documents are unavailable with them, and communication are being in follow up, and getting ready to file another case.
Now, another problem cropped up was: - I have requested for loan closure and No due certificate. And the loan closure certificate in deficiecy with wrong loan account number and not clearly saying the loan is completed, instead, the last EMI will be charged in your upcoming Credit Card Statement, and this certificate was sent by the local Branch, where I have no relationship. (not having any account)
I understand the credit card transactions are centralised; and not handled by the branch, and now the branch is responding to the loan closure which is a leakage of the customer data and information. To my understanding, leaking the card information, even within the branch is not correct. Therefore it needs to take a serious action against Axis Bank for leaking the data (even within the branch)
Should I file a seperate case for the
- deficiency in service
- violation of RBI guideline for not protecting the customer information and
- not adhearing to BCSBI Code of Commitment to Customers – requiring strict secrecy of customer information
The axis bank is silent by not responding positively on this.
Veterans please guide me and save from AXIS Bank,
I am much worried and trembled, whether they demand 50th EMI or my data are been leaked to 3rd party ...(ofcourse not overthinking ... but worried)

You first issue a legal notice expressing your concerns and demand explanation, failure to fetch response you may approach consumer commission for deficiency in service.
