1)498a/406/34 filed in 2012
2)Husband filed quash in high court
3)2014 , dispitute resolved , husband did not move with quash
4)wife filed "mutual settlement" pettition to public procecuter
5)charge yet not frame
My question is
1)Is it possible to withdraw the case in lower court ?
2)Lawyer saying it will take 4/5 years to complete , is it true ?

If you are husband, you could well have discussed the problem in first person, rather than like an academic query.
Anyway, if the case pertains to you, please intimate what your own lawyer has advised you on the issue?

My wife has given a petition to public prosecute , that she want mutual ,but my lawyer repeatedly communicate with PP to
get a mutual date with pp to appear before the magistrate , but pp is not doing any thing last 4 month , no progress is happening to dispose the case , my lawyer is saying that he can not do anything ,he can only try
