Pan of executor

Dear sir/madam,

I have to file a return having income from capital gain on sale of the asset of a deceased person as an executor of the will made by her before her death. So how I can file the same as the deceased had no PAN so whether have I to take a new PAN as an Executor of the will and if yes How to get it and what documents I required ???

Kindly guide me for the same and thanks in advance...
