Dear Experts

Pranam to All

I made an application under RTI act to a government department seeking a file copy pertaining to my grandfather.

Could you please let me know as a grandson, am I become a part of family member or third party as per RTI act.

Can the PIO reject my application stating me as third party.

If the PIO considers a particular information as third party information, should he inform to the applicant regarding rejection as per RTI act or not necessary.

Please guide me.
