Dear Sirs,

Can a tenant purchaser sell the land under tenancy laws, which acts and sections apply

Shweta,

When you say tenant purchaser, it means the land is given to the tenant on grant. It being grant land, the same cannot be sold and if an attempt is made to sell the same, the land shall vest back to government as per provisions of M L R Code.

If the land belongs to ST then provisions of Maharashtra Lands Restoration to Scheduled Tribes Act, 1974 will come into play.
