Stamp duty on Mortgage Deed

Dear Experts,

I would like to know that, how to calculate stamp duty on different types of mortgage deed which is specifically executed in the region of Mumbai and its suburbs. I mean to say what are the different rates to calculate the same ?

Stamp Duty will be exempted or reduced in every state accordign to the Situation requiremetns .Pl Contact the Locla Sub Registrar Office or see the Web site - Department of Stamps and Registrations - State of Maharastra !
