About internship

hello i m shraddha from mumbai.. i have completed my LLB from glc. in the year nov 2011. now i want to do my internship . i m interested in crime but i want to learn both civil n crime . how to choose law firm . or senior lawyer. plz suggest me.how many years i need to do internship .
