Regarding claiming compensation in death case

the deceasd met wit an acident and died after 2 days. complaint has been registerd against the driver of 2 wheeler.. after that we came to know that there is no insurance to the said vehicle, and the main thing is the owner of the vehicle died 1 year back. . and the rider who did accident was using the said bike from 1 year and he has not transfered the said vehicle to his name. i came to know that the said vehile is in the name of one who died long before. . now against whom i have to claim compensation.. insurance is not valid, owner died long before, FIR registerd against the rider who did acident. . please help me against whom i hav to claim compensation and pls give me any citation if posible. . .

the accident has been caused by rider . the rider was using the bike for last one year . your claim for compensation will be against the rider as owner of bike is dead .
