To avoid any addition or alteration at later stage by any of the parties. Any page without signature of both the parties can be tampered with by any party and can become the cause of dispute any time later, if that differs with each other's copy of the agreement.

And more so the person who is signing the same may not say that he had not read it prior to signing the same. and under stood the contents of the same.
