Property of my Grand Father

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 March 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi

My Grandfather had a house and land which he had bought from his own earnings. He has 3 daughters and 1 son. He has given his property to only 2 daughters( Which we suspect they had taken it when he was ill), Now my mother who has not received any property - can she claim /take legally to get the share of the property. Please advise

Thanks

Is your grand father alive?
By what mode he conveyed the property to 2 daughters?
What is the stand of the son i.e your uncle?

It will be long drawn civil matter.

My grand father is not alive. One daughter its clearly registerd under her name, second daughter we are not sure what mode its give, they had built a new house by demolishing the old house.

For my uncle, My grandfather had got a land for him and built a house for him on that, which he had sold it. We do not have much contact with my uncle, but if any problem arises, he definitely will try to see if he can get a share for sure.

Even if we dont stand a chance to get anything, atleast we want to get some stay on that property as the least we can do.. Please advise us on this
