Obtaining sanction u/s 197 Cr.P.C.

Hello Experts!
I want to know the step by step procedure for obtaining sanction (u/s 197 of Cr.P.C.) to prosecute a public servant in a private complaint.
Please elaborate this procedure for me.

it is simple. you ascertain asto who is the authority competent to remove that public servant from his office and then submit your papers to him with all the details seeking sanction to prosecute. it theris undue delay or if sanction is not given approach the high court by way of a writ of mandamus.
