VAT rate on Thermal Imagers

We are manufacturer of Thermal Imagers (A equipment to view in the night)in Karnatka. Waht rate of VAT will be applicable on this and under which classification.

The item 'Thermal Imagers' do not find a mention in any of the schedules under Karnataka VAT Act. As such, in terms of Section 4(1)(b), in respect of goods not finding a mention in any of the Schedules, VAT of 12.5% [whether any change in rate is there is to be checked up at local level] is chargeable on such goods.
