Days of Notice in I.D ACT

Sir,

To make a strike or lock out, it is mentioned in the ACT to give Six Weeks notice and 14 days notice. Please tell me
whether such two notices are required.

Section 22/23 of the ID ACt prohibit strikes and lockout under certain conditions. The notice periods mentioned by you relates to a strike or lockout in Public Untility Service. There is no notice required in other establishments but strike or lockout is prohibited in these establishment under certain conditions (Section23 ID Act)
