An engineer of an Indian Company was sent abroad in connection with a project work and died during the course of employment. How his heirs will be compensated?Is Employers Liability Insurance mandatory in our country?

Firstly for which the employer was working the said company where it was registered what are the benefits given to the said employee the offere letter what does it stats the policy of the company all should be understood then only can a proper reply can be given,, In your case as the employee died during the course of employement the company is liable to compensate the legal heirs
