divorce case

My friends husband has filed a divorce case on 16/12/2005..the cour has ordered an interim order of maintance for her son Rs 2000 dated 6 aug 2007. since aug2007 my friend has not appaered in the court and his husband is not giving the said amount . she want to know what action should be taken, her laywer is not giving proper advice.. she want to know whether her husband has got decree of divorce as its since 3 yrs she has not appeared in the court.

ADVISE HER TO VISIT COURT,GET FILE INSPECTED FROM SOME OTHER LAWYER,AS SHE HAD APPEARANCE AND THEN TURNED ABSENT,CHANCES ARE THAT SOME EX PARTY DECREE WAS PASSED EITHER WITH OR WITHOUT COLLUSION OF HER LAWYER.
IF SO SHE SHOULD TAKE SERVICES OF GOOD ADVOCATE AND FILE A PETITION TO SET ASIDE EX PARTY ORDER PASSED.
